Quoting Should Not Take All Day

A customer calls the counter for a breaker or another part that is not on the shelf, and the work starts. Call around to find stock. Re-key the part numbers. Wait on email replies. Keep the customer moving while all of that happens. That is an ordinary day in electrical parts distribution, and it is the problem RapidQuote was built around.

That process costs time on both sides. The person looking for a part has to repeat the same request. Vendors may miss a sale because the request never reaches them, or because their reply comes too late. A straightforward quote turns into phone calls, scattered emails, and the same part numbers typed more than once.

RapidQuote gives that work one place to go. Send one request to 393+ vendors on our list and get prices back in one place. Vendors can put inventory and pricing on file, so matching quotes go out automatically with their own price and terms. The platform has issued $40.4M in quotes while keeping the workflow simple.

What It Does

Electrical parts quoting often means calling around, waiting on email, and re-keying part numbers. RapidQuote takes your parts list once and sends it to 393+ vendors on our list. Prices return by email and in RapidQuote, so you can compare the replies and keep the customer moving without chasing every quote yourself.

How the Matching Works

Vendors load their inventory and pricing. RapidQuote matches incoming requests against the parts they have on file. When there is a match, the quote goes out automatically with the vendor's price and terms. If the exact part is unavailable, an alternate in stock can be included and clearly marked.

Both Sides of the Counter

Receiving requests is free on our current plans. Sending your own requests is $24.95 per month after the first 30 days free. That fee is waived while your inventory is on file and quoting for you. RapidQuote takes a small percentage of quotes you win, up to a maximum.

Simple Rules for Quoting

  • Prices stay private. Your prices stay private to you and the buyer who requested the quote.
  • Free to receive. Receiving requests is free on our current plans.
  • Position is not sold. Vendors are never charged for position in request results.
  • A person answers. When you need help, a real person replies.

Spend less time chasing replies and more time helping the customer in front of you.
